There are quick-time events in Time Travelers

Level 5′s Time Travelers features a mechanic known as “Playing Cinema Event”, although it’s just a fancier name for quick-time events. These allows you to control a character’s actions by pressing buttons in time with on-screen prompts. The situations this system is used for ranges from simple tasks like pressing the A button to make a character laugh correctly to more difficult tasks like pressing a variety of buttons to help your character fight off an assailant.       Even though the game isn’t out over here yet, its kinda obvious that it can’t stand next to it.

      They should have continued the development on Kara instead, that video made me feel sad for a robot of all things!

      Heavy doesn’t have one ending though, it has like several different endings.

    Normally I’m against QTEs (they’ve been quite bad in the games I’ve played of late), but in a game like this it may add some much need action to (what seems to be) a pretty laid back game.

      Its basically a virtual, visual book.

      From what I’ve seen, you have quick time events and you can choose different things to say.

      Not much, but I don’t know if it’ll be good, its a multiplatform game, PSV, PSP, and 3DS, so I don’t know if the 3D ITSELF gonna be stellar or anything, I imagine its gonna be like the cheap 3D videos you get on nintendo video.

      Well I saw commands for ‘B’ and ‘A’, its just the 3DS gameplay.

      Yeah but, imagine the game is a normal, natural gameplay, and they leave the 3DS version with quick time events because of hardware limitations, since I suppose they’re making the game thinking of the Vita. They’ll just port it to 3DS and PSP. Of course i’m just saying that this better be the gameplay for the Vita and PSP, or, you know, why buy it on the 3DS if it’s going to be a crappy port.

      The graphics themselves aren’t anything special, it would bad on the vita, the 3DS is capable of handling these graphics and gameplay.

      I’ve also heard that there isn’t much difference between the versions, I don’t know, I guess you could find some videos of each format on youtube since its been released in japan already.
