Theatrhythm Final Fantasy box reveals paid DLC and Nintendo Network

A retailer display box for Theatrhythm Final Fantasy in Japan has revealed the game will be receiving paid downloadable content after it’s released. There will also be support for the ‘Nintendo Network’, but we’re not sure what this is at the moment. It’s speculated to be “a new online initiative”, but that’s only based on the name.

      I read on My Nintendo News that it’s basically the next-gen of the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection for 3DS and Wii U.

      Uh………… You’re kidding right? A network in general is basically sort of a collection of computers and servers that work together and are connected in many ways. In this case, “Nintendo Network” would just mean like, an internet service. Like the Nintendo Wi-fi Connection service. Their computers run it, 3DS’s connect to them through the internet, data is shared, etc.

    Whenever you connect to Wifi on Mariokart 7 it says connecting to Nintendo Network, in europe at least.

    im confused becuz the game should have all content as possible first, then later on get dlc whenever the dlc gets made.

      Yes I agree. Any decisions for extra content to be added to the game should only be made after the game is released. At this point, any extra content should already be there before they release it.

    I feel like sony might get mad and or sue nintendo ’cause “Nintendo network” “playstation network” there some thing dont know what word to use other than allmost the same. just as long as nintendo doesn’t call it “NN”

    I’m thinking NN is what they’ll put on every box that has planned DLC. Makes sense for this game (the first with DLC) to be the first to have it.

    I just wish it was TheatRythm Kingdom Hearts
