The latest issue of Famitsu magazine has confirmed that, in regards to the DLC program for Theatrhythm Final Fantasy, there will be 8 songs available for purchase when it launches in Japan. The songs will cost ¥150 each, or about $1.95. There will be new songs every two or three weeks from both the numbered and non-numbered Final Fantasy games.
Ok…
Paid DLC is lame, Spotpass was made so you get DLC’s for Free.
True, but, say someone was a perfectionist (me). Spotpass wouldn’t be on forever. For example, the Samurai Warriors spotpass made me mad seeing how I bought it a month late. What if they made spotpass dlc, and, say, made it available to buy, say, a month later? That would appeal to people like you and perfectionists, like me.
The only way for DLC at launch to make sense is if there wasn’t enough space for it in the full game. Therefor this makes -1 sense. (unless there wasn’t enough space which I doubt for this kinda game)
what the eff is ur name?!?!
Zelda CD-i games, the worst Zelda games ever, developed in America.

One of my favorite remixed songs.
meh, that actually makes me sad. not really much of DLC and it’s fairly expensive too.
Yes, but 150 in yen (or $1.95) is significantly more in Japan even when converted since the salaries and minimum wages in Japan are extremely high. A new Wii game in Japan is about $70 when converted.
Launch day DLC, nice Square Enix, real nice… Repeatly updated DLC like this could have just used SpotPass and been free like Samurai Warriors Chronicle and Dead or Alive Dimensions.
$2 for 8 awesome songs sounds better than $8.95 for Jill in MvC3.
Too bad it’s $2 for EACH song, not the full set, meaning those 8 awesome songs are almost double the price of Jill.
Oh bugger -_-
Better be damn good ones.
Better be double XP then.

Apparently this site says that Theatrhythm is coming to America, Australia, and the UK. o:
Final Fantasy Tactics music plz!
That would bring back memories!
I really hope they release this game in the U.S. and it sounds like a pretty reasonable price point, probably $1-$2 in the U.S. cheap enough for me…
I don’t think I’ll be buying any songs, unless they give you something extra as well, besides the songs. Or if it’s a REALLY cool piece.
I really hope Theatrhythm comes to North America… Or else…
