In an interview, Bob Sabiston, the creator of Inchworm Animation has talked about Nintendo’s continued rejection of his intent to develop software for the 3DS, sharing that:

I emailed them a couple of months ago, to see if they would change their mind. They did not even write me back.

He admits that he may have “drove them crazy” with “endless submissions”of Inchworm Animation while struggling to conform with their strict, and very specific guidelines. Even so, it’s a shame that companies like Nintendo can’t do more to accommodate for independent developers.

I could understand the restrictions if it prevented crap from coming to the platform, but there’s a lot of  junk arriving as a result of larger publishing companies having the means to get their software on the platform, but not the drive to make the experiences worthwhile.
