Previous reports stated that Tales of the Abyss was set to be released in Europe on November 10th, but new reports say the release date has changed to November 25th. It seems like this was the announcement about Tales of the Abyss that we were waiting for.

  1. Paul

I was really hoping for the NA release date :(

    1. Ephraim

      Was excited for announcement.
      Now I’m just… meh

  2. oooh cant wait

  3. FJ LInk

    And only in English…

    1. Belinni

A game translated to English for a place that speaks English?

~I WILL NOT STAND FOR THIS!~

  4. Hopefully this means its coming out this year in NA :)
Because if it was coming in Europe this year but not NA that would be really stupid!!!!!!

    1. RicardoSForever

How is that stupid? You guys got the original PS2, while we got nothing. It’s time we get some perks for change, no?

    2. It’s stupid because the game is already complete! And ever since the 3DS came out Nintendo has been super nice to Europe and treating NA like $hit!

    3. Alisha

Some Americans really need to stop whining. When it comes to JRPGS a few years ago, Europe always got pushed to the sidelines, nothing came over there for them, as they were always kept in Japan and the US.

Now America knows how Europe felt all those years ago, America basically takes everything for granted and think everything has to revolve around them, but no, that stops right now.

    4. Jess

they will release it in north america this year too….and what are you talking about alisha? north america has gotten shafted too for a lot of JRPGS in the past….europe was not the only one. you guys got last story, pandora’s tower and xenoblade, whereas we didn’t. it has already been confirmed by nintendo power magazine that north america is getting this game too. and who said lizzie was whining. you can’t tell by what she typed alisha.

    5. Alisha

Jess that’s only 3 games that America don’t have, compared to all the times where Europe missed out on a lot of JRPGS a few years ago. And I can tell what Lizzie meant, she’s whining about the better treatment Europe are receiving over America now. You can’t tell me that I can’t tell what Lizzie meant by her comment, cause I do.

    6. Tails the Foxhound

      @Ricardo SForever & Alisha
Tingle’s Rosy Rupee Land, Another Code R, the sequel to Hotel Dusk and a handful of other games (just this generation) say hello.

That aside, what the fuck is this “serves you right” bullshit? Did we fucking come over and tell them not to release the games in your territory? Did an American personally come over and shit in your Cheerios? We are not to blame that you didn’t get the games. And you know what? In most SANE circles if someone says “I live in X region, we didn’t get the game”, another person would say “Oh man, I feel your pain, any option to import?” (or some such.) They wouldn’t go “Ha ha, sucks to be you. Fuck off Y regioner”. My point is, you should be hoping we get this game not lambasting us because you’re butthurt that you didn’t get to play Baten Kaitos or Tales of the Abyss. Cut the entitled elitist bullshit, it just make you look like a jackass. Dumbass.

    7. RicardoSForever

      @Tails the Foxhound
You know, I’m not saying you shouldn’t get the game, quite the opposite really. What I mean is, we here in Europe should get it first since we didn’t get the original PS2 version, that’s all. And If Nintendo is starting to support Europe a lot now, is because we are growing a lot, in terms of videogames.

  5. Coolguy

On my mother trucking birthday 2!

  6. Hawk Alpha

Great! Now when does it come out here in North America?

  7. Tailisu10

Well this is somewhat dissapointing for me..

  8. DK

This NA Europe fued has to stop because compared to Japan we don’t get half of what they play. I say fans in all regions should support each so that we all can play the same games and have fun and tell our memories of our experience with these games. I’m from NA and I am a little mad about the Rainfall games but all we can do is hope. And if sales are good enough in other regions then they’ll have to release it stateside. Same goes for Europe. It all comes down to the gamers.

    1. KeigoNiwa

It’s not even REALLY a feud, it’s just that you get your immature idiots from ALL regions that feel like turning these type of things into racial issues.

It’s on thing to be proud of your nation, it’s another to slander others.

  9. DK

I never slander anyones nation and I hope people would stop doing that cuz what really comes down to is video games, gamers, and the publishers and developers. So I don’t know why people have fight over which REGION is better. Just saying. Everyone should be more respectful of others. Although this is the internet lol.

  10. alpha3ds

I hope they keep the japanese dialogs along side with the english ones :/

    1. Tails the Foxhound

They almost never do that for Tales games (have they ever?). I’d like the option to hear them though. Even better if I could switch individual characters like in Street Fighter and MVC3. Y’know, pick the less annoying voice. Though I’ve yet to hear a character in any of the 3 Tales games I’ve play have an annoying English voice.

  11. Yuyu

I always laugh at these NA Vs. Europe arguments. BOTH sides always sound ignorant.

    1. Tails the Foxhound

Don’t they though. The other regioners piss me off and the Americans almost make me ashamed to be one. TSK TSK, shame shame *wags finger*.
