Nicalis has confirmed that VVVVVV has passed Nintendo of Europe’s submission process. There was also the hint that the release date for the region might be the 10th of May, although that is still unconfirmed.

Nicalis has announced that VVVVVV will release within the first two weeks of May, while NightSky will launch in either June or July. We’ll just have to wait for a more specific release date though.

Nicalis has announced they’re bringing VVVVVV to the eShop. VVVVVV is a 2D action-platformer in which you play as Captain Viridian who is trying to save a dimension in danger, along with the crew of his ship. The 3DS version of the game will include six levels with open-world environments and full 3D graphics. Nicalis promises new features, levels and future content updates.
