Beyond the Labyrinth is a 3D dungeon RPG in which you and your companion, who has now been revealed to be the girl shown in all the previous media, make your way to the top of a labyrinth. In the labyrinth you will encounter enemies which you’ll have to battle with your unknown party members. As mentioned previously, the game will be playable at the Tokyo Game Show.

We’re sort of expecting to see Monster Hunter announced for the 3DS at the Tokyo Game Show and Mizuho Securities, an analyst firm in Japan has a similar expectation. They believe Capcom’s share price will rise because “it is expected that Capcom will announce new entries in major series like Monster Hunter at the Tokyo Game Show.” As andriasang reports though:

It’s not fully clear if Mizuho has learned of a specific Monster Hunter announcement, or if they’re just saying that major titles like Monster Hunter will be announced.

Let’s just hope they know something specific and that it’s for the 3DS.

Famitsu in Japan has revealed that Beyond the Labyrinth will be playable for the first time at the Tokyo Game Show. Konami is also preparing a minute-long trailer for the show.

A while ago, there were rumours relating to the Tokyo Game Show. They didn’t appear likely, but one of them said that “Sega has a Layton-like game but with rhythm action instead of puzzles,” which has become true. As such, the rest of the rumours have resurfaced. The most exciting one is that Monster Hunter Tri G is coming to the 3DS. There’s been a few rumours for Monster Hunter coming to the 3DS, so maybe this’ll finally be when it happens. Fingers crossed.
