It is now possible to preorder the limited edition 3DS that celebrates the 25th Anniversary of The Legend of Zelda (which is bundled with Ocarina of Time 3D) from Best Buy. You can click here to find the product page.

The above scan from a GameStop catalogue confirms that the limited edition 3DS that celebrates the 25th Anniversary of The Legend of Zelda is coming to North America. As it is in Europe (but not in Australia), the bundle will include a copy of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D. So, who’s picking it up?

As reported by MCV UK, *THe Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D* “was bought by over 20 percent of the handheld’s user base in its first two days” of being available. It’s not particularly clear, but I think this is just for the UK, although I imagine a similar percentage would be found around the world. Plus, this figure is just from the first two days of sales, so the percentage should be higher now.

Need another way to express your love for *Ocarina of Time 3D*? Then you may want to check out the wallpapers after the break that are from Nintendo of Japan’s official website for the game. Nothing says “I love this game” more than covering up some artwork from it with a large amount of desktop icons.

There was going to be a midnight launch event for *Ocarina of Time 3D* in Melbourne, Australia when the game is officially released on June 30th. But Nintendo of Australia has confirmed the event “will not be going ahead due to unforseen circumstances.” They don’t elaborate, but EB Games (and a few other retailers) did break the street date for the game. Perhaps this is Nintendo giving them the finger? Or maybe they just know that most of the super-dedicated fans who would have been at the event already have the game by now.
