Nintendo in Japan has released new screenshots of Super Mario 3D Land. The gallery allows you to view the screenshots in 3D when seen through the 3DS web browser. You can click here to see the screenshots.
The official website for Super Mario 3D Land has revealed that some levels in the game will feature mounted binoculars that allow Mario to look around the stage using the gyroscope and the L and R buttons to zoom in and out. It’s not a huge feature, but it’s the first detail we have of a gyroscopic-related feature in the game.
This is obviously an artist’s rendering, but it’s the best idea of what the keychain looks like that you’ll receive if you preorder Super Mario 3D Land from GameStop. You can click here to find the product listing.
Update: There’s a bit of confusion, but this image was pulled directly from GameStop’s website, so I’d imagine this is what the keychain actually looks like rather than it being a meaningless render.
GameStop retailers in the United States are offering a Tanooki Mario keychain with preorders of Super Mario 3D Land. There are no pictures of the keychain at the moment, but you can click here to preorder the game anyway.
