StreetPass Quest 2 was announced a couple of hours ago and there’s the first batch of screenshots from the game after the break. It’ll be available for free as a part of the firmware upgrade in November.

StreetPass Quest 2 is on its way, Mii Plaza to feature geographic locations

Satoru Iwata has confirmed that StreetPass Quest 2 is on its way and will be released with the new firmware in November. In addition to that, the Mii Plaza will be updated to provide you with a rough geographic location of every newly met Mii after the update hits. There will also be fresh puzzles to be completed via StreetPass.
In a recent investor meeting Satoru Iwata has said:
Even Mr. Miyamoto has been asking, “Does anyone have a plan for ‘StreetPass Quest 2′?” for several months, and several departments are currently considering such a possibility.
Assumably it’d be another freebie, but even a low-priced eShop title would do me. The trick is to just somehow get the people in my neighbourhood to own a Nintendo 3DS so I can actually play through the game…
