SEGA never placed much focus on the 3DS version of Sonic & All-Stars Racing: Transformed, or even gave the game an official release date. Either way though, some stores have it in stock and there’s a solid amount of footage after the break to see if it’s your sort of thing.
Nintendo has confirmed that Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed for the 3DS will not be released in 2012 as was originally planned. Instead, the game will launch at some point in February 2013.
According to an e-mail from Amazon.com, Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed is delayed until February, 2013. Based on a recent trailer for Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, it appears that the 3DS version of the game will not be arriving alongside the console versions. The console versions are coming in November, while the 3DS version is set to arrive on the 11th of December.
Amazon.com has revealed that there will be a “Bonus Edition” for Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed. There’s no further details on what this edition will consist of, but something’s on its way, and I’m sure SEGA won’t take too long to reveal it.
SEGA has revealed that Ralph from Wreck-It Ralph — an amusing-looking movie that’s seeped in video game culture — will be playable within Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed. You can check after the break to see him in action. The screenshots themselves are from the console version though.
SEGA has revealed today that Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed is headed to the 3DS in late 2012. The game’s cast will consist of classic Sonic characters and characters from Golden Axe, Skies of Arcadia, Jet Set Radio and Crazy Taxi.
