Resident Evil: Revelations

We reported that some of the first batch of Resident Evil: Revelations copies in North America had an error on the spine of the box. Capcom has revealed that the entire first shipment of the game will have this error. But, if you want the correct spelling, you can call 650-350-6700 or e-mail them (accounts@capcom.com) to receive a replacement case insert for your copy. It might be better though to hold onto the misspelt version. That’s a bit of history right there.

We reported that Resident Evil: Revelations would retail for $50 in North America because it uses a 4GB cartridge (compared to the usual 2GB cartridge), but Capcom has announced that they’re lowering the price of the game to $40. Does that make it anymore enticing? Or were you planning on picking it up anyway?

There has been a demo for Resident Evil: Revelations on the eShop in Japan for the past few weeks and, as reported by Nintendo Life, that demo will be released tomorrow on the eShop in Europe. This should also apply to Australia, I’d imagine, but as for a North American release date, we’ll have to wait and see.
