Rayman Origins has been available for the 3DS for a while now, but as is the trend with a lot of 3DS games as of late, it’ll be available as a download via the eShop within the next week or so. I’m sure there’s some second-hand retail copies floating around at this point though, so that might be a better deal.
Ubisoft has confirmed that Rayman Origins for the 3DS is now available in North America. If you’ve been waiting for the game, now’s your chance to get it. You can check after the break for a few screenshots from the game.
The demo for Rayman Origins on the eShop has been updated with what looks to be the game’s new North American release date. According to the listing on the eShop, Rayman Origins will now be launching in North America on the 6th of November. For the moment though, Ubisoft has not offered confirmation.
Rayman Origins was delayed in North America, but there is confirmation that the game is now available in Europe. This also confirms the delay wasn’t because they were trying to make the game better. It was purely a strategic decision in regards to sales, which is a shame.
Rayman Origins on the 3DS will no longer launch during June. It has been delayed until Q3 2012. There was no specific reason provided, but with people complaining of various problems during the demo, maybe they will use the time to improve the final product?
