Yesterday, Nintendo revealed that the Pikachu 3DS XL would be coming to North America on the 24th of March. The official price for this is $200, but as revealed in one of Target’s catalogues, they’ll be carrying the system for just $160. I’d be surprised if a better deal becomes available anytime soon.
Nintendo has confirmed that the Pikachu 3DS XL is set to launch in North America on the 24th of March, alongside the release of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity. You’ll be able to pick it up for $199.99.
Who wants one?
At a recent event in Chile it was announced that the Pikachu 3DS XL would be making its way their sometime in the future. Given that Nintendo systems sold in Chile are the same as the ones sold in North America, many are speculating this means the Pikachu 3DS XL will be announced for release in North America soon. We’ll just have to wait for an announcement from Nintendo of America though.
For folks who can’t get the Pikachu 3DS XL, there’s an unboxing after the break that will allow you to pretend like you’ve bought one. Just squint your eyes and it might not feel like you’re looking at a screen.
