Video: The New Lens

So I bought a new lens, specifically a Canon E-FS 10-22mm, and this was my first video playing around with it. There is some distortion since I should have moved the camera back a bit, but it’s pretty darn good so far.

There’s also some 3DS news:

I plan to do another Q&A video in the next week (and will hopefully be less lazy and do these on a regular basis), so if you have any questions about Nintendo, video games, or slightly more personal questions, then click here to send one in. You can also vote for other people’s questions.

The new year has started down here in Australia and, given that I’m from the future (at least if you live in a time zone that is behind the east coast of Australia), I am happy to report that 2012 is off to a great start. Bowling averages are way up, mini-golf scores are way down, and if you’re unsure of why what I just said is amusing in any way, you should go and watch Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure. It’s not relevant to anything, but given that it’s from the eighties and I’m still quoting it, hopefully that attests to its staying power.

But anyway, the above video includes me talking about some stuff (as you have perhaps become accustomed to over these past months), but also the question: what are you looking forward to in 2012? Ideally you’d share what you’re looking forward to in regards to the 3DS, but feel free to talk about gaming in general.

Oh, and happy new year.

So we managed to raise $5000 for charity: water, thereby providing 250 people with access to clean drinking water. As such, I take my beanie off in this video in addition to talking about the following news:

Thanks to everyone who contributed to the donations or spread the word about the fundraising.
