The 3DS XL has taken the number-one spot in terms of sales in Japan for this past week, and the regular 3DS has taken the number-three spot (with the Vita in between them). Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon has also spent another week as the best-selling game in the region. You can check out the complete rankings after the break.
The above, Luigi’s Mansion-themed comic is the latest addition to Penny Arcade. The joke itself might be fairly simple, but it still gave me a light chuckle.
As everyone could have expected, Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon has become the most-purchased game in Japan over the past week. After launching on the 20th of March, it’s sold a little over 280,000 units. Is this going to be its first and only week at the top though? Or how long do you think it will hold the crown?
To celebrate the launch of Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon, Nintendo has released a new puzzle to be completed through the Puzzle Swap section of StreetPass Mii Plaza. It’s available in Europe and North America, so go and check it out.

Nintendo has revealed that folks who visit PAX East on the Saturday will be able to purchase both Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity a day before the games are released. It might not be a huge span of time, but if you’re at the event, you might want to make the mot of it.
