Level-5 revealed in a recent interview that the reason why Rental Weapon Shop, a game in Level-5′s Guild 01 compilation, has not been announced for release outside of Japan is that the game relies heavily on knowledge of Japanese culture and also contains large amounts of text. Because of this, Level-5 is still considering whether or not it would be beneficial for them to localize the game. Level-5 also revealed that they hope to release Guild 02 outside of Japan, but currently have nothing to announce as the game is still in development.

We can’t be sure what it’s teasing, but Level-5′s long list of unlocalized 3DS titles does give us hope that the announcement might be 3DS related. We’ll just have to wait and see though.
