Yesterday we reported that Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D had been delayed in Europe, and now we can confirm that it will also be delayed in North America. We won’t be seeing the game until sometime in 2012.
Update: There seems to be confusion around this story. This delay specifically applies to Europe and Australia, but Konami is keeping their mouths shut about other regions. Here’s what 1up reports:
As the news of a Snake Eater 3D delay originally came from Kotaku Australia, we checked with Konami to see if the delay also applies for North America and were told a release date has yet to be announced for the region. That’s hardly a reassurance that it’s coming later this year as previously believed, and it also gives Konami the ability to slide into 2012, if it so chooses. We’ll report back as we learn more.
Hopefully we receive clarification soon.
