Kid Icarus: Uprising has received a score of 40/40 from Famitsu magazine in Japan, making it what I think is the first perfectly scored game for the 3DS from the magazine. I’m definitely thinking my undying praise of the game was completely justified, so that’s good too.

Club Nintendo in North America is having a special promotion where any member can get a pack of three Kid Icarus: Uprising augmented reality cards for free. The cards include:

  • Great Reaper
  • Drill Arm
  • Palutena (Rare)

It’s unclear when the offer will end, but they’re likely to run out, so if you want the cards, it’s a good idea to get them soon. You can click here to find them on the Club Nintendo website.

I’m going to leave this here so we can channel our collective jealousy toward Japan, thereby having zero impact on anything but still making me feel better considering these Kid Icarus: Uprising-themed chocolates won’t be released anywhere else in world. Of course, the chocolate’s probably not that good. But it’s the principle of the matter. How can I survive if I don’t have my sweets wrapped in promotional material for the video games I’m interested in?
