Nintendo is offering a remade version of The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Anniversary Edition as a freebie via DSiWare. This is something I never reported on when it was announced, but it has been made available in both Australia and Japan via the eShop already, so I thought I’d mention it. The rest of the world will receive it before the end of September 28th. As explained in the press release:

The game allows up to four players who have downloaded the game to play cooperatively and has also been enhanced with a new single-player mode. Unlike the original, all multiplayer game play is handled wirelessly. Once players finish the main quest, they will unlock new stages and abilities to expand the game’s replay value.

You can see a trailer for the game after the break.

At the end of this interview with Joystiq, Sabiston shares that “people are asking a lot about a 3DS version, and I would love to do a 3DS native version,” so “if I find the time and energy to continue with it I would love to have an *Inchworm 3D* out there.” You can check after the break for a trailer of the DSiWare version to get a better understanding of what this application can do.

Antipole, a gravity bending indie game from Saturnine Games, has been approved for the Nintendo DSi and 3DS. This comes directly from their Twitter account, which states they were “just informed that all the Antipole DSi/3DS shop assets were approved. Should have a confirmed release date in the next few days.”
