Target is hosting a pre-Black Friday deal, slashing the price of the 3DS for only $145. It’s not bundled with anything like other deals we’ve seen, but if you’re keen for just the console, this is a mighty good price.

According to this rumor, Best Buy in the United States will offer various 3DS games for $20 in the coming week. These are the games that are mentioned:

- Madden NFl Football
- Cartoon Network: Punch Time Explosion
- Dead or Alive: Dimensions
- Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars
- Rabbids: Travel in Time 3D
- Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D

Amazon.com is hosting a Summer Road Trip Gaming Event, which equates to offering large discounts on lots of handheld games, including games for the 3DS. In line with the price drop of the 3DS, you can also get a free game with your system from Toys R’ Us if you pick it up before August 14th. There is a limited selection of games you can choose from, and pretty much all of them suck. But good things have been said about Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars, so if you’re keen to get that game, then this is a good deal.
Starting on August 12th the Nintendo 3DS will cost $169.99 in North America. So, if you want to pick up the handheld for that wonderfully low price but still get it as early as possible, then you can click here to preorder it on Amazon. They’ve setup special product listings for the lower-priced, yet-to-be-released hardware.
Yesterday we reported that Walmart in Canada will be selling the 3DS for $198 between July 28th and August 4th. Now, Future Shop in Canada will be offering a similar deal. If you go to their online store here, you can buy a 3DS for only $199. If you’re in Canada, and don’t have a 3DS, this is probably the best price you’ll get for a long while.
