This tune is becoming a tad too familiar, Yuri Araujo of Capcom has said:

I know exactly how it feels to be lacking a new MH game for a while… patience is a virtue, right? Eventually it pays off somehow… we’ll have something veeeeery soon.

There was also a winking face thrown in at the end. But at this point, the expectations have been stretched for so long, it’s really going to suck the power from any announcements.

Capcom will not bring Marvel vs. Capcom Origins, a digital title, to Nintendo platforms. But Christian Svensson has explained the decision, saying that:

It’s not some sort of spite thing. It’s just that on current generation consoles, the most sizable base of active digital consumers has been on the X360 and PS3. Bear in mind, this game was green lit more than a year ago when I did the deal with Marvel.

…and:

Don’t worry though, on some future unannounced Capcom projects, Nintendo platforms will get digital love from us.

Feel free to speculate as to what those unannounced projects might be.

David Gibson, the Head of Software & Services for Macquarie Capital Securities Japan, said it’s “unlikely” that Monster Hunter Tri G will be localised. Christian Svensson of Capcom, however, has responded to simply say:

I’d like him to cite a source.

And to me, that sounds like a flat-out denial of the game not being localised. But what do you think? Are you expecting we’ll see the game in the west?

Capcom has revealed that none of their playable titles at E3 2012 will be for Nintendo platforms. But since we are expecting a Resident Evil game to be announced, this doesn’t mean we won’t see announcements. There just won’t be anything people will be able to get their hands on.

Rich George of IGN has tweeted that there is “so much Capcom goodness” coming at 8am PST from the company’s Captivate 2012 event. When asked how much will be Nintendo-related, Rich responded with:

There will be something that interests you, I think.

The obvious question is, what could it be?

A proper confirmation of Monster Hunter Tri G being localised is the possibility that springs to mind. Or maybe there’s something completely different in store for us?
