There’s a good chance you’ll be purchasing *Super Mario 3DS* or *Mario Kart 3D*. And if you to live in Australia and preorder either game at EB Games you’ll be treated to a free double-sided poster, shown above. You must preorder in-store rather than online, but if you’re keen for a poster then the offer is there.
Want to pick up *Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D* early? If you live in Australia you should be able to head to EB Games and get it right now. There are no other retailers joining in on the fun like they did with *Ocarina of Time 3D*, but it’s still a most joyous turn of events if you’re keen to pick up the game.
There was going to be a midnight launch event for *Ocarina of Time 3D* in Melbourne, Australia when the game is officially released on June 30th. But Nintendo of Australia has confirmed the event “will not be going ahead due to unforseen circumstances.” They don’t elaborate, but EB Games (and a few other retailers) did break the street date for the game. Perhaps this is Nintendo giving them the finger? Or maybe they just know that most of the super-dedicated fans who would have been at the event already have the game by now.
EB Games in Australia will start selling Ocarina of Time 3D tomorrow, one week early. These are Australian versions of the game (rather than imported, European copies) and are registrable via Club Nintendo. Those who pre-ordered the Ocarina Edition will be able to pick up their copy of the game.
Update: Another retailer, GAME will also be selling the game. It will not be on shelves in either store, but you can ask for it in person. EB Games has also started shipping copies of the game via their website.
