Nintendo has announced that Kid Icarus Uprising will launch in Australia and New Zealand on March 29th. This puts it just a few days after the release in Europe and North America. As in other regions, the game will come bundled with a stand for your 3DS and six augmented reality cards.

Nintendo has announced that Tekken 3D Prime Edition will be launching in Australia on February 23rd. This is just a few days after the game’s release in Europe and North America, so the wait isn’t long for people who live down under. The game will include forty-one playable characters and the animated movie Tekken Blood Vengeance in full 3D.

It has been announced that the promotions via Club Nintendo that were previously announced for Europe will be making their way to Australia. If you register two eligible games before April you will receive a special code to download Kid Icarus as a 3D Classic. You’ll be entered to possibly win a Super Mario-themed 3DS.

Nintendo in Australia has revealed that Resident Evil: Revelations and the Circle Pad Pro will launch in Australia and New Zealand on the 2nd of February. Revelations and the Circle Pad Pro will retail for $69.95 and $24.95 respectively in Australia and will not be sold in a bundle. No price was given for New Zealand.

Nintendo has announced that the 3DS has broken a sales record in Australia. The 3DS has become the fastest selling video game console to sell 200,000 units in 37 weeks. The 3DS beat out not only all other handheld consoles, but also all home consoles in this category.

It has been confirmed that in Europe and Australia, the firmware update scheduled for late November has been delayed and will launch sometime by the 8th of December. Now it’s just a matter of playing the waiting game until Nintendo announces the new release date.
