In regards to the rumors that the Game Boy Advance games for the Ambassador Program might have been delayed to next year, a spokesperson for Nintendo said this:

The forthcoming 10 GBA Virtual Console titles available for registrants of the Nintendo 3DS Ambassador Programme, will be available before the end of December 2011. We will make further announcements in due course.

So, there you have it. It was all a mistake by the looks of it. Now all we have to do is wait for Nintendo to announce what the Game Boy Advance titles are and when we can get them.

Nintendo of Spain’s official site has the free Game Boy Advance titled for the Ambassador Program listed for release next year. But given that Nintendo made a similar mistake this week and every other official Nintendo site says differently, it may be an error. We won’t know until Nintendo makes an announcement.

Apparently a few folks have received SpotPass messages informing them at some point they’ll receive a SpotPass message with the details about the free Game Boy Advance games that anyone who is a part of the Ambassador Program will be receiving this year. So yes, this is an announcement of an announcement, but that isn’t too strange of a thing for Nintendo to do. It’s also a bit of non-news, but at least this gives me a chance to remind people that we don’t know the games we’re getting, nor do we know the release date.
