Super Mario 3D Land and Mario Kart 7 sell one million copies each in North America

Nintendo of America has shared that Super Mario 3D Land and Mario Kart 7 are the first 3DS games to sell one million units each in North America alone. There’s also the confirmation that the 3DS itself has crossed the four million units sold mark.

      i get some metroid info from google alerts. you can get email alerts about anything with google alerts. even every hour i think. google is awesome. i remember there was a google search thing that got results the instant they enter the internet. i forgot how to do that though. and you can google search anything within the past hour too. so you only get whats new. yerp.

      A few months ago I wouldn’t get more than 2 street passes whenever I walked through the mall. Now I have to check every once in a while because it fills up too fast!

    I’m sure OOT3D beat them to it, but! Still a great accomplishment in so little time. Also the 3DS will hit 5 Million in America weekending Jan 1st! (my prediction.) :D

      I actually found this game to be much faster than other installments in the series.

    Not suprised, I never got any streetpass until I got Super Mario 3D Land and Mario Kart 7, Then the I got billions of people with streetpass passing by.

      Except they aren’t really StreetPasses at all, since you don’t get any tidbits about them, no puzzle peices and you can’t use them in StreetPass Quest.

      I turned invitations off because it just cluttered the square up and shadowed the true StreetPass hits.

    Well done Nintendo. I was one of the ones that bought Mario 3D Land when it came out. I still haven’t gotten around to getting Mario Kart 7 though.

    and I never regret buying ether of them. but Super Mario 3D Land could’ve been more popular if there was online multiplayer.other than that well done nintendo.

      How would they add online mode to Super Mario? I would be fine if it was there, but I just can’t find a way for it to be put into the game.
