Square Enix has tweaked Bravely Default: Flying Fairy based on feedback they received for demo

In one of those pleasant instances where a company listens to its fans, Square Enix has tweaked Bravely Default: Flying Fairy based on the feedback they received for the recently released demo. Basically, the game is made to move faster, with characters being able to walk with a 20% increase in speed. This does not affect the enemy encounter rate though. The next demo is also confirmed to feature the final game’s battle system.

      Of course, I’m not sure if this reflects the actual in-game graphics, but it’s still awesome to see.

    Yea the graphics do look pretty good. Is this what they mean by chibi kind of character designs lol where the characters all look retarded lol no offense

      You were born yesterday or something? Basically Chibi…because more realistic character models would look weird with the type of backgrounds and stuff they have used. They are child-like, tinier versions of the actual characters. Not necessary children though.

      I wish they could have made a bit more detailed faces though. They kind of all have the same expression, looking as if they were a bit bored or something. Well, I just hope the characters in movement will be able to express emotions with their bodies as good as, for example, in FFIX.

    It’s nice to hear that they are taking fan feedback to make the game even better. Wish other video game companies would do that. I’m looking at you Capcom!

      no offense but for me.
      some companies who rarely listen to people were capcom and nintendo.
      well they have some secret plan for the future maybe.

      like my friend was send some e-mail to nintendo, he ask politely that nintendo should remove the region lock, and nintendo said that they don’t have that kind of F–king plan. lol.

      i dont really need MH to be localized, but still region lock? damn.
      if they don’t have region lock, at least they could boost 10% of japanese game and software to outer region.

      Well, that was probably from fear of more bad publicity. What SqE has done here is to me a much better example of how to listen to your customers.

    the characters from this game reminds me of the characters from the final fantasy game i bought for the DS last year.4 heroes of light.it was a pretty badass game :D i really recommend final fantasy fans to buy it.as for this game,I’m gonna get it for sure :D

    I didnt see much difference, but the game still looks f’n amazing. There had better be an announcement at E3 about a release date (at least for Japan).
