Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D “performed solidly”, says Capcom

Capcom has said in their latest financial report that Resident Evil: The Mecenaries 3D “performed solidly” in regards to sales, which makes me wonder, why isn’t Capcom throwing more support behind the system? But I think it is one of those questions we’ll never know the answer too. Since they didn’t quantify the success of the game though, perhaps it didn’t do that well, only better than their projections.

    I would say that Capcom is supporting the 3ds really well. Two monter hunters and two resident evils. I would imagine they want Resident Evil to hit the market and then unveil another game in the right timing. Perhaps at e3 or something.

      Your right. Besides the whole Legends 3 getting cancelled thing, we are getting a lot of support from capcom on the 3ds

      In all honesty I dunno what to expect from Capcom anymore, they cancelled the third entry in the Megaman series that got me hooked in the Megaman games, they messed up Mercenaries 3D (IMO) and they’re literary killing Monster Hunter 3G with the no online feature.

    Surprising for such a disappointing, lackluster, and overall low effort game. After getting 30 online error messages, I would imagine they would have returned the game back to the store first thing…oh wait. Thank you, Capcom.

    Capcom is probably giving the most support and giving the highest quality on the market so far.

    If it did well at all it’s do to the die hard fans of resident evil wanting to get there hands on the next juicy instalment of the series even if it’s in a five menut demo. Capcom should stop ackting like they don’t have any thing to lose, with that thou is better than I attitude. Inane left you guys I have not connection to that game company any more. Megaman died at ther greasy greedy hands. And my feelings rant just do to one game it comes from several over the years. MM powered up 2, universe and not putting Megaman in MVC3, what about the Zero saga does any body care as much as a die hard fan. I’m not one but I am a voice of disappointment. Shouting from my rooms widow.

      Yeah, they had mentioned that if a lot of people bought the game they would think about adding a map or two and throw in Leon. Everyone was so angry that there was no Leon in the game during release they forgot about the magic of DLC…

      … Not to mention the ”gamers” complained about not being able to delete their files in a game which bases everything on HIGH SCORES!

      That’s like being angry at an arcade machine because you can’t save your progress after getting 1st on the worldwide leader boards AND finishing the game itself.

    Well, capcom is showing a lot of support for the system, but if a glorified minigame can get solid sales, then why wouldn’t megaman legends 3? MAKE IT CAPCOM!

      Clearly, they have some plans for Mega Man. BIG PLANS! and no, that isn’t shutting down Mega Man completely.

      We will no doubt see something massive for Mega Man. IT’S THE ONLY WAY!

    Mercenaries sucked so much ass, was happy to trade it in. The demo for Revelations on the other hand was fantastic & will definetly be picking it up.

    I like this game. I just wished it had some DLC or updates, but they probably didn’t think of it.

    i would say Capcom and square enix are the only 3rd party supporting the 3ds properly ooh and nicilis (developers of cave story) expecialy the western company’s have been ditiching portibles in favour for iphone it’s shamefull really

    You people got to stop complaining Mercenaries is a spin-off so most likely it would of been crap. Revelations looks like a must buy. Oh David Capcom is giving the best third party support for the 3DS so far with some great looking game. Monster Hunter TriG is most likely only coming out in Japan. Japanese people don’t play online as much as us when it comes to portables so the online was not that necessary there because they perfer to play with friends.

    I traded this game in because of lack of content… I was really hoping for dlc and I was let-down. I f the released a new version sure, I’d get it if its better than this one I mean I liked this one but it wasn’t enough.
