Rayman Origins is available in Europe

Rayman Origins was delayed in North America, but there is confirmation that the game is now available in Europe. This also confirms the delay wasn’t because they were trying to make the game better. It was purely a strategic decision in regards to sales, which is a shame.

    I was going to get the 3ds version but since this got delayed to November in NA i would rather get the console version.

      Same reason I got the vita one. Plus it gives me a reason to play my vita

    I don’t think I’m interested anymore, I foolishly thought they had delayed the game to make it better (multiplayer, online, etc)…. Anyways, it’s out of my wish list on Amazon :(

      Americans nitpicked on everything, Ubisoft thought, “Oh so they think its crap and won’t buy it? Well then, We won’t released it in the US then.”

    I tried the demo a couple of days ago, it was horrible!
    I have the PS3 version and to say it’s WAY better then the handheld version =)

      I actually thought it looks great, the 3d added something special to this game. Its like a real magical world behind the screen, all thanks to the 3d.

      In some levels where Rayman jumped between different layers can only be ‘seen’ with 3d on.

    Not like I was getting this game anyways, but North America! Screwed again! I was about to import a European 3DS the other night. I think I might have to.

    Pardon my French , but if Ubisoft intends to eff around with the release date because the release date doesn’t fit their ”prime sales point” it won’t fit into my ”prime buying time”. I really wanted to get this for 3ds (I can get it for console but I enjoy platformers more on the go) but I don’t intend on letting Ubisoft screw me over again. It would be different if they were actually improving the game , but if they are delaying it only to raise sales they will lose mine.

    to be honest whoever markets this game is a retard, seriously he delays it to november when games like luigis mansion 2 or maybe paper mario and games like nsmb u, pikmin 3 and even its own sequel rayman legends are gonna steal all the attention from this

      yeah they lost my purchase ………..wtf are they thinking if they release it now it can make something but in november its dead and old. anyone who wanted to play this game has. btw whenever i go to gamestop and buy a 3ds game the same guy at the counter always says “enjoy your game [buddy]” …..should i be pissed or is that dude just being nice because if i hear that one more time im going to ask for battletoads.

    Meh, they cut the framerate in half and because of that the controls feel sluggish. Everything is floatier and Rayman feels hard to control.

    I never liked what SONY did to the handheld gaming industry, they made people expect too much from these systems. People are expecting near perfect ports instead of a gaming experience more suited for portables.

    Handhelds and home consoles are supposed to be a generation apart in terms of technology. Ubisoft made a mistake trying hard to cram the same features on a small screen. The outcome was not terrible but people who played the original or the Vita version expected more or the same and forgot the 3DS is not as big or as powerful.
