Ketzal’s Corridors is Nintendo’s next, original game for release on the eShop in North America. As described by Siliconera, it “looks like a third-person on-rails Tetris”. And while that sounds like an odd description, you’ll see that it’s the best way to explain it when you check out the trailer and screenshots after the break. There’s no release date (although it was already released in Japan in October), but Nintendo says it’s coming “soon’.

Nintendo says it’s comig soon? That means withing a year (if we’re lucky), just like Animal Crossing and Paper Mario.

    • David

I don’t think they ever said those games are coming soon.

    • GamingFan99

^Sorry, you’re right. However, I know that Animal Crossing is supposed to be released in 2012, but if we’re lucky we won’t get it until December… I’m just upset that Nintendo is taking so long to release the games that I primarily bought a 3DS for…

    • Odd Bob

I think he’s sorta kinda full of it.

  • lol

This game is already on the Wii.

    • holonboy

You sure about that? I can’t seem to find anything about that.

    • pplacho

It’s the sequel to a WiiWare game named ThruSpace, there is a demo for it in the Shop Channel.
Nintendo announced this game last year as “ThruSpace 2″ along Sakura Samurai and the Kirby 3D Classic, they later renamed it Ketzal’s Corridors.

    • holonboy

Which region is your 3DS from?

    • GamingFan99

      So… is it good?

  • tob2007

When they say “soon”, do they mean “soon” or “nintendo soon”?

    • GamingFan99

That’s what I’d like to know

    • Malamite Ltd.

      Valve soon.

    • Dranza1

They are taking inspiration from Valve time it will be released in Nintendo time and after its release they will add hats and Meet the Tetrominoes videos in which the tetracube will have the first video, then the L tetromino, then the Z tetromino, then the S tetromino, then the line tetromino, then the J tetromino, then the magical one that changes to any other tetromino, then the T tetromino, and then the mysterious impossible eighth tetromino will be last to be revealed….
Nah. But this seriously is just a remake of the Virtual boy game with a different name and a few new gimmicks.

  • chris

It´s like that classical mini game of rayman rabbids

  • EpicLight*

Trippy…It looks multiplayer, maybe there’s online multiplayer?

    • Xarreno

Yep, that’s the perfect word for it…… trippy.

I don’t believe it would support online because it’s an eshop title, but whose says it’s not possible?

    • http://hybrilynx.net/ Hybrilynx

some meaningless eshop games have online stuff. like dsiware number battle. its too bad nintendo doesnt show how many people are online etc like microsoft though. nintendo needs to grow up.

i hate it when they change the way games looks. it looks better on wiiware. well, the tetris gameplay thing. there was a wiiware game thats pretty much the exact same thing as this, but more like tetris and less like rocks and boulders. why cant they just keep things the way they are.
