I don’t think they’re going to show any of these(including the cookies) until E3.

    • Belinni

Mine was only a rumor, the other guys are just complaining because they have no patience for things that are coming no matter what.

PAX Prime had a much better choice in 3DS games, IMO. Mainly because they weren’t out yet. Most of the playable games at PAX East this year can already be bought.

  • rawr

    I guess I’ll wait till e3…

  • Oblivion

Don’t they remember that little game they announced called paper mario?

    • Kelsonar

      Or Animal Crossing…or Luigi’s Mansion…

    • http://hybrilynx.net/ Hybrilynx

those games arent already out? i thought luigis mansion came out like in november or something. paper mario too, i guess. just wow that they arent already out.

    • Ricardo

@Hybrilynx – Oh, no sir. For ALMOST A YEAR, no one has heard any information about Luigi’s Mansion 2 nor Paper Mario 3D. It’s sad, really.

It’s making me wonder if Nintendo isn’t working on these games everyday. Either that, or the day when Luigi’s Mansion 2 demo was playable, that’s all that Nintendo had finished at the time. OR, Nintendo is taking their time on these games and making sure that they are nice and lengthy. Just my two cents.

But still, months ago, Nintendo confirmed that there is a new 2D Mario 3DS game in development, and still no news of Paper Mario 3DS whatsoever. Maybe they have different teams working on both games, but still. To have a new 2D Mario game be confirmed for 3DS, instead of not having any news on LM2 or PM3D REALLY worries me.

I, for one, just hope that the games are undergoing tons of changes, or are close to being finished, but fixing glitches and stuff like that.

You guys do not suppose Luigi’s Mansion 2 or Paper Mario 3D have been canceled, do you? :( I hope not! If we do not hear ANY news about these games @ E3 2012, then those two games are history. :(

    • ZimmerRemmiz

      @Ricardo
Intelligent Systems is making Paper Mario and a Canadian team is making Luigi’s Mansion 2, Intelligent Systems had Pushmo and has Fire Emblem on their plate as well, so it’ll take them a little while to get Paper Mario done, and who knows what the Canadians are doing eh, I’m sure that they are just taking their time, calm down and stop worrying…

    • http://hybrilynx.net/ Hybrilynx

so who has flipnote memo? that should have been out almost a full year ago. theres nothing difficult about the software, and flipnote studio is like 95% of a reference to copy.

    • Ricardo

A Canadian team? Huh, interesting, and I’m assunming they are a studio team that works for Nintendo, right?

As for Paper Mario, oh, I see. Still, you would think that Mario always comes first, but not in this case. Plus, having too much Mario in one year could be bad. We already have 3D Land, and Kart 7, so that should keep us busy until Paper Mario or Luigi’s Mansion come out.

I hope the Canadian team doesn’t screw anything up, because the ghosts in LM2 look extremely childish. I hope the team or Nintendo realize that due to fan feedback, and change some things.

As for Paper Mario, everything is looking nice and spiffy, just the way it should be. Although, I’ll pass on this one, instead, I’ll wait for the next installment of the Mario&Luigi Series.

In a different article, some guy mentioned that maybe both Luigi’s Mansion 2 and Mario Tennis: Open are either close to being finished, or done, but they are just waiting when to release it at the right time(Paper Mario is probably nowhere near almost done, so I’m not counting it). For example, Mario Tenis: Open comes out May 25 (I think) and if Nintendo were to release Luigi’s Mansion 2 around that same month (May), that would be bad. Less people will end up buying the other game, due to there being 2 games in the same month. Even though there was only a one-month gap between 3D Land and Kart 7, Nintendo knew that gamers were still going to buy both, reguardless of time. However, the same cannot be said for Luigi’s Mansion 2 and Mario Teniis: Open, because those 2 titles are not MAIN Mario games, they’re just spin-offs, so you have to make sure you put LM2 and MT:O in different release spots. MT:O is set for May, so I can already assure you that LM2 will come out between June-December. :( Oh well…

  • the psvita is better

    what about heroes of ruin?

    • ZimmerRemmiz

      That’s a Square Enix game…

    • Captain Falcon
