Nintendo of Australia launches tool to check if you’re registered for Ambassador Program

Worried that something went horribly wrong and you’re not registered for the Ambassador Program? Well now you can check if you’re registered…in Australia. Rest assured, other regions will have a similar tool soon (it may even be available now, I didn’t look too far). If you’re Australian though you can click here to check.

      No, they’re not. This tool is only for verifying, not to become an ambassador.
      … but apparently just by installing the latest update you became an ambassador, you didn’t have to actually enter the eShop. And in some places the deadline was extended.

      Yes, it just tells you if you are previously registered or not.

      umm actually no Nintendo said we’ll get the NES games STARTING Sept. 1st, so not all at once :/

    Unsurprisingly the North American equivalent isn’t available.

    Based on Club Nintendo I’ve always found NOA slow on these sort of things, even though the support site claims “this week.” (This week’s almost up, guys.)

    whats the point of this? why not just go to the eshop to see if your registered? or better yet, go on the eshop before the end date.

      unless nintendo has some cheap technology, there shouldnt be any research to search. even when you did connect to the eshop, it told you about the ambassador thing.

    Doesn’t the US have a notice in the E shop news or updates section telling you that you are in the program? Check it carefully as I think its hiding at the bottom of the news or updates page.
    The Australian 3ds’s had no such message. Hence why the site was made I guess. I just checked I’m in it as I should be. :)

    I know he said it’s only for people who live in Australia, but i still tried, it said I wasn’t activated D: Bit worried. But it was just for Australia, right?

      i did the same out of curiosoty (<<spell fail) and it says i wasnt in even though i got it on release day and whent on the eshop 3 times to make sure i was in…

    The confirmation if you are an ambassador was not given to people who updated without going to eshop (that registers you in the program according to one of the questions) and was also removed if you are already an ambassador and went to the eshop after the 11th, because on the 12th it was discounted.

    Wtf??? I just checked mine and it says I’m not registered, despite using the eShop beforehand (downloaded the free games from it).

      Phew, ok, I’m just an idiot. There’s a triple zero in my serial number and I only typed a double zero. Panic over.

    I just realized that NTSC 3DS have just 10 digits (without the box digit). So, it’d be impossible to check anyways.

    Mine’s registered for the Ambassador Program, so getting ten free NES games on my birthday will make a really good present. :] Glad to see some sort of confirmation that I’m apart of it now.

    has everyone gotten the confirmation note on the eshop? europe, anyone from sweden can confirm this?
    it doesnt say anything on my 3ds so im getting a little worried :) i have bought games from the eshop since the launch of the eshop.
    im gonna raise hell if im not an ambassador!!!

    ok i tryed to see if im regestered on the australia site thing for the code but for some reason it doesnt let me put the number in the box and then i clicked enter and it said i wasnt regestered and yet i went on the eshop a million times since the release! i had my 3DS since june i think btw i live in north america is that why it says im not regestered? im so confused

    yes but the e shop just said if you logg in before 11:49 august 11 you will be registered but i logged in every day but i went on vacations some where with no internet and i never recived a notification or news on the eshop saying congrats u r in the embassadors program!! :( and meeehh mexico is central america :P but i hope we count as north :)

    The American Nintendo site now has the tool to check eligibility for the ambassador program. It is in the support section. Look under the support section for the ambassador program. I checked mine and I am eligible. Now i wish they would tell us what the other ten free games are.
