Nintendo of Japan has announced the release of downloadable content for New Super Mario Bros. 2 in Japan. There will be three sets of DLC, including:

• A set known as Go! Go! Gold Mario Pack which will come with three levels and will allow you to collect up to 30,000 coins
• A second set known as the Challenge the Record Pack A which will also come with three new levels and will post the player’s top scores on the game’s website
• A third set known as Survival Panic Pack which will feature three very difficult levels

The DLC sets will be released on October 2nd and will retail for about $2 USD. You can check after the break for a video of the content.
