    I got the game a few weeks ago. While not as amazing as Mario 3D Land or Ocarina of time 3D or even Dead or alive dimensions, the game is still pretty cool. The thing about it that might turn some people away is that the game’s short. For me, it was about 5-8 hours long. In the end though, those 5-8 hours were pretty awesome.

      I forgot to add, if you’re a Sonic fan, and you enjoyed games like Sonic Rush, get this game because it’s right up your alley.

      Meh, Sonic Generations for the 3DS barely has an average score of 65 on Metacritic. 5-8 hours long from the main story is pretty bad.

      I beat Mario 3D Land in less than 5 hours, and I still thought it was a decent buy.

    This game was disappointing in terms of length, level design, control, and graphics. A mediocre game overall. Sonic 3&Knuckles is one of my favorite games of all time, but this is just bleh

      It’s not nostalgia. I’m only 16 and ayes the original sonic games for the first time 2 years ago. Sonic generations is a poor attempt at recapturing the spirit of the originals. I’d give you reasoning if you’d like to know

      Says the guy with ‘miles’ in their username /facepalm.

      There’s absolutely nothing wrong with liking the older titles, they have stood the test of time compared to most of the sonic series to date.

      And besides more heart has been put into games back then, now it’s pretty difficult finding games that have the distinct ‘soul’ to them.

    Eh… this game isn’t that good. The story isn’t very good, the level design (while good initially) is poor, and the graphics are a mixed bag (but better than some other 3DS titles). It’s a bargain bin type game. I’d wait until it’s about $20 or less to buy it. If you’re looking for a good platforming game, you should check out Super Mario 3D Land, Cave Story 3D, or Skylanders: Spyro’s Adventure.

    Terrible game, I’m really upset! Been looking forward to this since the 3DS came out…I actually expected this to be better than the console game!

    It turns out Dimps plays only by their own rules….They are the CALL OF DUTY OF THE DS!

    Why would you give classic sonic homing??? Seriously!!!

    I feel that the graphics could be better, it looks almost like the DS’s 3D engine…

    Finished the main story in 3,5 hours…
    While the first two worlds are well design, mainly because they’re the same as they were 20 years ago, the rest are just plain bad.

    Gonna trade it as soon as possible. Stay away from it, unless you’re a hardcore sonic fan and even if you are, think twice.

    4/10 in my opinion.

    I just finished the console version of this, kinda disappointing since they let so much stuff out . I think I would like this version better.
