More footage of Green Hill Zone (Act 2) in Sonic Generations on the 3DS

Sonic Generations on the consoles has been receiving a lot of praise, making it worth anticipating when it hits the 3DS later this month. For now though there’s a video of Green Hill Zone, Act 2 you might want to check out after the break.

      That’s exactly why I miss Sonic Adventure/Sonic Adventure 2 so much… ;-;

      I also miss the 360-degree controls where you could go backwards and side to side. These days, Sonic controls like a car in the 3D segments…

    Had it been released the same time as the console version I would already have owned it, but I got fed up of waiting.

    Looks awesome but im sad to have just found out that modern sonic in the 3ds version is still a side scrolling style, rather than the behind the back view of the console versions. Its still modern style levels and powers but… its not the same :( luckily im not much of a sonic fan… infact i dont own a single sonic game (oh except for sonic rush2 on DS… but i dont even like it)……. so yeah overall i dont care but i still comented, typical internet user

      The game is awesome dont let GI reviews affect your decision,there reviews are biased,besides IGN reviews are way better(MY OPINION)

      Don’t believe Game Informer’s review. They are usually very good at reviewing games in my opinion, but i feel like that were heavily biased on their Sonic Generations review…..

      although that being said, they only reviewed the 360 version *if i’m correct* so it has nothing to do with the 3ds o.o

    It’s obvious that they aren’t taking advantage of the 3DS’s power. Some of those textures are very ugly, not to mention the low polygon count. I wish more developers actually pushed the hardware to its limits, like Nintendo and Capcom.

    I’ve been playing sonic generations (PC version) on my 3D capable monitor. I wonder how the experience will compare on the 3DS because it’s extremely awesome having 3D with high speed gameplay. Either way, I want this since there are completely different levels.
