Mighty Switch Force to receive an update via eShop, includes new (and free) content

In the latest issue of Nintendo Power, it was confirmed that WayForward’s Mighty Switch Force will be receiving an update at some point in the future. The update will include five new levels to play (for free), along with enhancements to the 3D effect and quick-retry button. The game itself was very well-received, so if you haven’t take a look yet, keep an eye out for the update.

    This is brilliant! If this wasn’t free, i would feel quite the opposite, but really, it is nice that WayForward is going out of their way to give us our money’s worth for this game.

    Cave story is going to get a MAJOR update…. my inner child wants so badly to dress as quote and play through the updated version.

    i hope its good. i have the game and it was pretty lame, for how much it costed.

    I like this game but it’s very difficult (they should add optional easy mode)

      Its supposed to be hard because the game was meant to be replayed in order to get the perfect time. The game does become easier once you finish each level so its not as difficult to get the par time.

      its not that hard and i am glad it is getting extra content cause it is a little short

    I still haven’t beaten all the regular levels, lol. It gets intense in the later levels. I’d love to see the option for health upgrades or something, because 3 tries just isn’t enough later on. >_

      Maybe 3 tries is enough for you, but it sure isn’t for me, lol. 4-5 would be better, for me, at least. XD I’m not complaining, merely musing.

    YAY! I’m happy about this. I am on the penultimate level of this (or the last level, I forget) and I have loved it so far. I just hope they’re not further, more difficult levels, otherwise I will never be able to beat them all, never mind going for the optimum time :o

    Awesome. The 3D was already fantastic, so I can’t imagine how epic the 3D will be in the ↑Date!
