Mario Kart 7 was 3rd best-selling gaming product on Amazon Japan in the last six months

Amazon of Japan has published this list, revealing the best-selling products in their video games category between December 1st, 2011 and May 31st, 2012. The top five products were:

  1. Final Fantasy XIII-2
  2. One Piece: Pirate Warriors
  3. Mario Kart 7
  4. Monster Hunter 3G
  5. Super Robot Wars Z

The white version of the 3DS itself managed to grab the twelfth spot on the list.

      Get these 2 games:

      Mario Kart 7 and Kid Icarus Uprising, and you will complete the 3DS games collection you need.

      Not to say other games are crap, but these 2 are really the current best.

    I’m going to be totally honest- Mario Kart 7 was one of my least favorite 3DS games. I also recently sold it to Best Buy for $24- didn’t lose any money though, because it was a gift.

    It was just really disappointing to me and got boring after a while. There wasn’t much to do, and it just felt like they put it out to put it out. The ‘new’ underwater and gliding sections weren’t really all that amazing.

    I do have to admit- I’m not much of a kart racing fan. I prefer realistic racing games that favor skill rather than luck. Modnation Racers was a pretty decent, and a fairly balanced kart racer. Blur also wasn’t half bad- it was an interesting fusion of arcade, realistic, and kart.

      Are you joking? Final Fantasy is one of the most popular jrpgs in Japan, and North America. Whether you play rpgs, or fps, every gamer has heard of FF. People bashed XIII because of the gameplay, once you get the hang of it, the game is really fun. XIII had the best FF story in my opinion, and had incredible characters. I’m not shocked people would buy the direct sequel.
