Level-5 trademarks Professor Layton and The Miracle Mask in North America

Level 5 has trademarked “Professor Layton And The Miracle Mask” in North America. And while there have been trademarks that have led to nothing, Level-5 is known for filing trademarks for Professor Layton games before showing them at E3. So maybe it’s time to get excited?

    I’m addicted to the Professor Layton series. I hope Level-5 knows that they’ve created a monster.

      Don’t they usually make their localization announcements at E3? So, it’s really not odd or too long when compared with the other localizations.

      2010 – Pandora’s Box
      2011 – Unwound Future
      2012 – Miracle Mask & really likely v.s. Ace Attorney

      So, by the end of this year, we’ll be completely at the same pace of Japanese Layton (except with the books and cellphone games)

    Please let this be true! I’ve been so excited, and the trailers make it seem like it’s even better than the first one! Plus, it has new types of gameplay! This is gonna be big!

    Cool, I just hope we get other games (Animal Crossing, Luigi’s Mansion, Paper Mario) before this one.

      Why, I want as much games as I can get, I don’t want them to hold off this one that is almost done so I can get another game I want sooner, I would rather they finish games in the most time efficient way possible, and if this one is closer to completion then another, I would want this one first. Don’t be so selfish.

    Finally! It’s about time! I beat the three main games in the series, and I’ve been dying for this. They take too long bringing over Layton games to the US. =(

      Make sure to play the Last Specter, this is the second of the prequel series, it goes Last Specter, then MOM then the unannounced Layton 6.

    Mask of Miracle sounds better than Miracle Mask. I wish they had kept the title. Oh well, I’m just glad there’s confirmation of it coming out in NA!

    I’m starting to think that one Cross-Over with Professor Layton and Phoenix Wright was cancelled. There has been barely any news on that game, practically none since the start of 2012. I mean when was the last time we got information on that game?

      Well this games already complete and onyl needed to be translatedx they’re still making the crossover so I’m not expecting much information for awhile or at least at E3 maybe

    Didn’t they say they would be releasing it by the end of Q2 (in Europe, at least)? I’m surprised we didn’t get any other news so far, and that they are unveiling the localised title only now.
