Level-5 is bringing Guild 01 to the 3DS

The latest issue of Famitsu has revealed that Level-5 is working on Guild 01, a new game for the 3DS. The game is actually made up of four games with some big names working on them. The list of games includes:

  • Kaiho Shojo – A 3D shooter by Suda51 in which you take control of the president of New Japan who must fight using a robot named Kaihoki Kamui in order to liberate her people.
  • Rental Bukiya de Omasse – An RPG where you play as the owner of a shop who creates and sells weapons for RPG adventurers.
  • Air Porter – An airport simulation game by Yoot Saito.
  • Crimson Shroud – A darkness fantasy RPG by Yasumi Saito.

We should be hearing more about Guild 01 this weekend during Level-5 World.

    Is it bad that the only games that get me really hyped are first party games like Super Mario 3D Land and Luigi’s Mansion 2?

      @PixelKnot93 To answer why i’m not hyped for third party games, i never played Resident Evil, Tekken, Metal Gear, Rayman, or Sonic and i don’t like heavily anime style japanese games so Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts are a no i’m afraid, and the other games just don’t interest me……. i am thinking about Monster Hunter Tri G though, and 4 if i like Tri G.

    Sounds good. They all sound top notch, and since they’re rpg’s, they’ll probably last a while.

    I hope hope they take time with this game and make it the best they can because most of the 3DS developers are not taking advantage of it’s capabilities :/

    Please let the 3DS be homebrewed soon because there’s not a snowballs chance in hell that this is getting localized and it sounds amazing.

    Rental Bukiya de Omasse sounds like a flash game that requires you to manage the inventory of the hero, because you are the side-kick.

    I would buy it just for the suda51 game… but the others looks great too. I want THIS! O_O

      It’s like four TOTALLY different games in one. So basically, you would buy it for one game or two, and end up trying up to three games in a genre you didn’t think of trying. Never played a “shop owner” game, and almost never thought of playing a simulation game like the airport one.

      It probably to get gamers to try other kinds of gaming other than the popular 1st pary titles. You buy it for one game, but there are additional games in there, so you give them a try. You find out you like them so you look into those kinds of games.

      The airplane simulator could get you hooked onto air combat or flight games and the shop owner RPG sounds like something like… I don’t know. Never heard of a game like that…

      Makes me interested.

    Well off subject, I can’t wait for both Sherlock Holmes: Frozen City & Golden Sun 4 to come out.

    And they are both exclusive to the 3DS only.

    I like to see Sony & Microsoft get games like Sherlock Holmes & Golden Sun.

    But that will never happen literally and that is 100% guarantee.

    But maybe during the PSP3 Sony might get a Sherlock Holmes game, but you guys & gals probably shouldn’t count on it.

      Yeah, but the people at Camelot games has said that because of all the features of the 3DS that they are gonna make another Golden Sun game, but right now they are thinking about how to utilize all of the 3DS’s features.

      But they did say that were gonna start making a Golden Sun for the 3DS just as soon as they come up with enough ideas.

      So I would’t be surprise if it takes from 2014 to 2015 to come out, especially after how long it took them to make 3 for the DS.

      And the people at Capcom who made Super Street Fighter 4 3D Edition did say that they will definitely make Street Fighter x Tekken on the 3DS, but right now their think-tank is thinking whether or not to make a Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition first or if they should drop the idea of making SSF4 AE to just go for starting development for SF x T.

      So Street Fighter x Tekken is 100% guarantee to come out on the 3DS, but Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition 3D is up in the air, so no one knows if that one Capcom game will ever come out on the 3DS, but at least one way or another Street Fighter x Tekken will come out on the 3DS.

    Darkness fantasy RPG – ? huh?

    It sounds like something where you can’t see your opponents, it has a darker storyline, maybe playing as nightmarish things, or um… dark. Do you guys have any ideas?

      Kid Icarus February in Nihon and Luigi’s Mansion March, well there goes my good mood.

      Kill joy (just kidding).

      But I’m not surprise about Kingdom Hearts in April, I actually saw that coming from a mile away.

      And with 3DS games it’s only up to a 1 to 2 month gap between release in Niihon and Native America or maybe that’s just first party’s.

      But they did say they are translating this game while their making it or something like that, so this should still make it in Native America by May and in Euroasia maybe in June or maybe still May, but I would In Native Australia by June or July.

      Why come Native Australia don’t get any love for game release dates?

    Why can’t games like these ever become localized? I for one think their weirdness is appealing. They could even be given their own (sub)genre here in the states/canada/europe.
