Kingdom Hearts 3D to be released on March 29th in Japan (and there’s an original 3DS design too)

Square Enix has confirmed that Kingdom Hearts 3D will be released in Japan on the 29th of March. Plus, there will also be a “Kingdom Hearts Edition” of the game which comes bundled with the original design you see above. There will also be a “Kingdom Hearts 10th Anniversary Box”, but we’re not sure what this include. In addition to all of that, the first batch of games will have an augmented reality card included with them. This allows you to “unlock a rare Dream Eater that would otherwise be difficult to unlock through standard means.”

how come loyal fans who buy systems day one get the regular looking one, but people who wait a year get the cool looking ones?

Birth by sleep came out like 8-9 months in other regions after the Japanese January launch.
If they continue with that unfair wait and my estimation is right, we’ll be getting KH 3DS in December/Jan 2013 ;.; …
They were able to release 358/2 days after 4 months and re:coded after 3 months, so my guess is july.
but i remember when birth by sleep came out they had no plans for a worldwide release yet but this one is confirmed. thats why i dont think it will be so long this time
It’s because they dubbed the game very late in it’s development. Square Enix and Disney like to make the mouth of the characters match the words they say you know?
Either way, SE mentioned they were dubbing this game as they went so the release date would be much closer than BBS was.
I hope it is a “Kingdom Hearts Edition” of the game. lol, we all make mistakes, but overall good article and I get the point. The 3DS looks pretty cool too.

It’s most likely the rest of the world will get a release date closer to E3, during E3 or after E3.
THIS LOOKS AWESOME!! But I already bought a 3DS on day 1, so I’m an ambassador. I can’t transfer those games to the KH 3DS if I bought it, right? :(

I’m pretty sure you can, but it will delete the titles from the host system.
The games are saved on the sd card. So all you have to do is switch them.
Yeah, you can use the system transfer tool to transfer your entire system from one 3ds to your new 3ds. It transfers everything including your Miis, swapnotes, Activity Log, eShop games, etc. Just make sure your SD cards are in place because your old 3ds and its SD card needs to be rewritten to transfer the data to your new 3ds and SD card.

Wat. The crown is purple (magenta [the absolute purple, 50% red and 50%blue]). x_x Pink is light red… if the dark version of what you call pink doesn’t look red, it’s not pink. (Or you can argue that since it’s 50% red, but not light, the crown is red. But then it’s also blue. ;) )
Sorry, just tired of everyone calling every shade of purple that doesn’t almost look blue “pink”.

the birth by sleep psp was released in america. it was only silver and was missing the emblem but that was ok for me.

That logo ruins what would have been a pretty awesome decal design and I’m not even a Disney fan, never have been actually. I’m more of a Studio Ghibli/Rosa/GITS kind of fella. xD

this sucks!!, i’ll never buy a console on day 1, nintendo is releasin a freakin awesome design for every game. instead of that we get a stupid program in our 3DS and some cheap games that we all have beaten.
