Kid Icarus: Uprising sells for $29.99 via Best Buy

This is the third story in a row related to Kid Icarus: Uprising but it’s sort of the big, blockbuster game at the moment, so there’s not much I can do about that. Speaking of which, Best Buy has started selling the game for only $29.99 via their website. It’s a great deal, so you can click here to check it out.

      Even if you pre-order it at Bestbuy you get it for $29.99. I picked my up today and got it cheaper than I was expecting. They also do ship games so you can order it online.

      Where I live every single game [even if it's portable] cost at least 70 US dolars

    cool might consider this i live in a small town and the only place that sells video games is our kmart. so after school i go there to get kid icarus and the guy says they have the game but cant sell them till tomorrow morning i was like what the hell? oh well 8am 2morro morning i well have kid icarus: uprising!

    Games are so damn cheap in the US. Too bad the 3DS is region locked…I paid like 15-20 bucks more than I would have had to pay for an US version.

    Dang it! So once again I’ll be getting screwed by Gamestop because they probably won’t price match it. Does this price only apply to those who ordered it online today at Best Buy or did the people who pre order get this price as well? If people are getting this plus the free download of Kid Icarus that is one heck of a deal!

      I got the price drop from amazon with the preorder bonus :) Just ask BestBuy, I read someone picked it up for the 29.99 price drop and it was preordered, but they didn’t mention the bonus.

      it depends on the condition of the disk and case. If it’s the best quality you’ll probably get a maximum of $35…

      It’s not in the greatest condition ever… Because I actually bought it used xD Disc works perfect and looks almost new, but the case is in okay condition.

      Yeah… Do they care so much about cases? Or do they mostly care about discs? $35 seems alright to me. (I blame the fact that I dislike this game much)

      don’t care about the case. the discs can look like hell, as long as it plays. since its gamestop the most you’re going to get is $30

      Sold it already. I got $35, but only because coincidentally (I never sell at GameStop. Something I quit doing like 5 years ago) they were having this deal for 50% trade in credit on any game. So yeah. Luck me? :P

    In other news it seems like Square Enix might be making another FF: Tactics game. Seeing as how the last two were on the GBA and the DS there is a chance this new one might be on the 3DS if he rumor is true.

    Then again it’s supposedly a sequel to the first Tactics which is on the PS1 and the PSP.

    Okay, I got this game… It seriously has the worst controls ever. (No, haven’t played faces of evil yet)

    Maybe it’s just because I have to use that nonsense CPP. Bulkiest, most uncomfortable thing ever. *awaits rage for opinions*

      i knew the controls would be bad. metroid prime hunters had very easy controls. of course, the graphics makes me not even bother with the game anymore. and action replay players. i dont know why they didnt make the controls like metroid prime hunters though. it cant get any better then that.

      Metroid prime hunters had the greatest DS controls ever. This game does not.

      I decided to try the right handed controls instead due to my insane hate for that CPP, and it actually makes things slightly easier. (yes I’m left handed :P) Yeah. I guess I’ll just have to get used to it.

      I adjusted the controls so that I don’t have to use the stylus. The controls are comfortable for me. Either that or I’m crazy, which I think not

      I think the controls are just fine. Of course I’ve played MPH and all sorts of stylus games do mabe that’s it. I haven’t had any trouble with them :) Loving this game <3

    Went straight to Best Buy after reading this, bought the game, played multiplayer. I literally came buckets and released my bowels.

    If you preordered from Amazon, they have a preorder price guarantee, if the price is lowered before the end of the release date, they will automatically adjust credit card payments. If you don’t get the refund, you can call Amazon and ask for it. I did and they first offered an Amazon promotional $10, but I told them, the price guarantee said I’d get a credit card refund, so they gave me a $10 refund. Even without a price guarantee, they will offer you the $10 Amazon promotional offer. I did that with other stuff I purchased on Amazon, when I had problems or there was a price change. Good luck, and hope that helps some of you :) I was thinking of returning it to Amazon then purchasing from bestbuy, until I saw the price change around 10:00pm my time :P

    I preordered the game for $39.99 on Amazon, on the release day, they gave me the code to download the free NES Kid Icarus game, then I noticed the price dropped on amazon as well, gave them a call and got a $10 refund, so now I got the preorder price and the free 3D classic Kid Icarus game :)

    I have Kid Icarus, Mario Kart 7, Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D, and Resident Evil Revelations for the 3DS. I paid $29.99 for two, and $39.99 for the other two. Paid $125 for a one time used (for like 4 minutes according to the activity log) 3DS. I regret nothing of any of these purchases. All this news about lower prices on epic games for the 3DS means the 3DS > Vita. I’d like to see how the Vita holds up, if this competition ends up making even more epic games than there already are then that would be amazing because I’m highly satisfied with what I’ve got.

    I heard out about this after I had already preordered from Amazon, but I would have taken the Kid Icarus 3D classics download over it anyway. On top of that, I got an email from Amazon today saying that I was getting refunded $10 for the preorder price drop guarantee, which I had no idea I was going to be getting. Very nice surprise, so I got the $30 price AND the downloadable original game. Sweet. :)

    Bought this game on Saturday! Fantastic game, besides the fact that the AR on my 3DS will not work, therefore I cannot use the AR cards included with the game. I cleaned the cameras and it still doesn’t work. Anyone else have this problem? :(
