Kid Icarus: Uprising animated shorts are returning to Nintendo Video on Sunday

Nintendo has announced that the Kid Icarus: Uprising animated shorts are returning to Nintendo Video on Sunday. They’ve released a trailer for the animated shorts that you can check out after the break.

      She should get with Pit, I was waiting for it to happen in Uprising, but it didn’t. When Pit died, I thought she was going to give him the Kiss of Life or something, which would have been awesome.

I have no friends and I all ways sleep by a macdonalds that has wifi all day and night and with a cheap computer that I spent all my money on!!!     the 3d animated shorts were painfully bad….but the 2d animated shorts especially when you turn on the 3d layering …they should have all been 2d animated

      As far as I know maybe in June worldwide but thats it for now the only update on this game was the price change which was good.

      It should be coming out some time in June. If it has multiplayer like the console versions, it’s a must-buy. If it’s like the Vita version, which lacks the ability to play with friends, I’ll probably just skip it, as the fun part of Rayman Origins is the experience of multiplayer.

      In all honesty, all the nintendo videos suck, but only because i don’t like the music vids (including BOB’s) and most of this stuff feels like it’s geared towards this generation’s cartoonnetwork and nic watchers

    In the US, they started rerunning them /last/ Sunday. We’ve already gotten the repeats of Medusa’s Revenge and Palutena’s Revolting Dinnet.

    Hey, I know nothing about the original, but is wasn’t Icarus the ki in mythology that escaped from something with his inventor dad and flew away but went to close to the sun and he fell and died? Is Pit the angel, if so is he the child magnus lost? I cant imagine magnus as a great inventor tough.

      In mythology Icarus’ father was called Daedalus. He created the wings for both him and his son to escape a tower that was in the middle of a maze where people died by the Minotaur’s hands.

      Icarus died by flying too close to the sun and then falling (like you said) into the ocean and I’m pretty sure most versions of the story have Daedalus live though.

      Perhaps a sequel to Kid Icarus will make us face off with Daedalus?

      Why should we have to face off with him? I hate that the Human Torch became a villain, and I despise the fact that Hades is a villain, so don’t make everybody a villain, Nintendo!

      ***Spoilers*** tob2006 Pyrron does become good guy after the aurum brain battle by sending the rest of the aurum troops to the other side of the galaxy, or at least he pretended to be good after defeating him. *end of spoilers*

      @Andy well maybe but in that case it would be impossible to see Daedalus cause pit is at the very least 26 years old, but I’m sure he’s much older. Besides in Greek mythology after dying you go to the underworld, to the stream or souls, and then unto the next life, and ***major spoilers*** remember pit nearly dies after his wings burn and nothing is mentioned about he having died sometime before by none of the gods.
