First look at Tetris on the Nintendo 3DS, including augmented reality action

I didn’t expect a whole lot from *Tetris* on the Nintendo 3DS. I love *Tetris*. It’s a fantastic game. But Hudson is putting a lot more effort into it than I would have anticipated. The most surprising addition is the support for augmented reality, which you can find screenshots of after the break. T

    I don’t know who would pay 3DS game-money for Tetris, no matter how much gloss they cover it with, This is the kind of games best suited for a phone, not for a handheld like the 3DS. I wouldn’t even pay 5 bucks for it.

    Wow, I wasn’t expecting this much effort into the title either. I think they did an alright job giving the classic game a little 3DS makeover. The AR action looks like a nice touch. I think they could’ve maybe used the 3D effect a little more to give it some extra push, but not bad.
