Fire Emblem: Awakening coming to North America?

Fire Emblem: Awakening is confirmed for Europe and Japan, but we’re not sure if it will be released in North America. Nintendo has registered fireemblemawakening.com, though, so it seems like that is their intention. It could purely be for trademark-protection reasons, but let’s hope there is an announcement on the way.

    David! New Play Control Pikmin 2 announced for the states! Y U NO BLOG ABOUT IT?

    Anyways, back to Fire Emblem, I really can’t wait to see this game come stateside, though I hope I hope they give it a bit more polish than they gave previous entries.

      The game came out three years ago in Europe, I believe. I think they’re localizing it now for hype and attention since Pikmin 3 will be announced officially soon.

      i think im gonna buy both play control versions of pikmin before i buy the wii u one since ive never played a game in that series

    DUH? yeah this isn’t surprising at all, every game in the series since they started localizing the games has been localized, with the exception of some mediocre late life DS ports, which were skipped over because the first DS port was a complete flop so they just decided to pass over the rest of them…

    A little off subject, but is there information about Wario Land 3 coming to North America? I believe I saw May 2nd in Japan.

      So far, no information’s been disclosed. Don’t worry too much. I’m sure it’ll come. There’s no real reason why it shouldn’t. Then again, there’s no real reason why we haven’t gotten Mega Man Legends 3: Prototype Version, so there’s some food for thought.

      Speaking of Disgaea I wish they would make a port of 3 and 4 to the 3DS. The first one already came out for the DS and I’m pretty sure the second one did too. I might be wrong and be thinking about the Disgaea 2 port to the PSP though.

      Also wasn’t there a rumor about a Prinny game for the Wii U a long time ago?

    What the heck is this “Fire Emblem”?! Some kind of symbol or something?

      Every game has a different sacred object, they all are called fire emblem. FE 1/3/11/12, Marth has an object to help him unlock treasure chests. Fe 9,10, the heron clan has a medallion that can make people crazy, etc…

      Not all of them, but think about it, all FE games that released in Europe have released in North America. There hasn’t been one FE game that went to Europe, but not NA. However, there has been Japaneese only FE games. The last one for DS never released outside Japan.

      fire emblem 1,2,3,4,5,6 and 12 never made it to EU or US. The only way to play them in English is by patching and emulating.
