Warren Spector has confirmed that Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion will be available on the 3DS on the 18th of November. There was a trailer shown via Software Showcase that I will publish here once it’s online.

      ARE YOU KIDDING?!!?!? IT LOOKS LIKE ONE OF THE BEST GAMES OF THE YEAR FOR 3DS

      @Santa Claws

      The game graphics and production value looked like a GBA game !! not worth $59 Aus…I hope they make this game into an EShop title

      I’ll take Castlevania, luigi Mansion, Paper Mario , Heroes of Ruin…over this crap any day.

      I rather get Mickey 2 on Xbox 360

      Just because it is pixel art doesn’t mean it is a GBA game. The utilization of pixel art is not due to a low budget. In fact, pixel artist are sometimes more expensive then three dimensional modelers. It is not as if the pixel art in this game is shoddy either. It is very well rendered and readable so I do not see the problem. It is very beautifully done and looks better than some 3D models I have seen. The choice of using pixels is probably( inferring from my existing knowledge and experience ) to save processing power and memory so that the devs can fit more into the game. I do not think making a judgement on a game before release nor assuming the way the game plays based on your own opinion on a certain art style is prudent.

    This game really didn’t catch my attention. I wish it success though.

    Honestly I’m loving this game. It really harkens back to the 16-bit days. Those Mickey games were so much fun. Short but fun experiences. I’ll always remember them as the games I beat over and over as a kid. NOSTALGIA FTW!
