Dragon Quest Monster’s: Terry’s Wonderland 3D launched in Japan and, according to Media Create, the game sold 513,183 copies in its first week. This accounts for almost 94% of its initial shipment. Level-5′s Guild 01, on the other hand, only sold 14,790 copies, which was equivalent to about 54 percent of its first shipment. We can only hope the sales figures don’t discourage Level-5 from the localization of the game.

Of course it did. It’s Dragon Quest. Japan goes batty for Dragon Quest, lol. I can’t blame them, though, as I’m also a huge fan. Really hope we get this and Dragon Quest X next year.

I’m glad for the Dragon Quest game, but…why do we want Guild 01 localized again? It looks like they took four 50 cent iPhone games with very little depth at all, threw 3D in the mix, and tried to get $40 for them. :T…
