Club Nintendo to offer augmented reality cards for Kid Icarus: Uprising in North America

For a while, members of Club Nintendo in Europe and Australia have been able to order packs of augmented reality cards for Kid Icarus: Uprising, but no such offer was in place for North America. It seems like that will all change soon as a customer service rep has revealed that Nintendo of America will offer the cards through Club Nintendo, but have yet to decide when they’ll be available. We’ll just have to wait for the announcement.

    I live in North America and I have already gotten some AR cards from Club Nintendo

      He isn’t talking about those free AR Cards. He’s talking about random booster packs that you can purchase for some coins. :P

    Yep me too! When the AR cards were first announced, I ordered them in North America and got them only a week or so later. Btw I created another club nintendo account and now I have another on its way too :D

    I don’t think their talking about the free ones. Its say that he posted the comment at 1AM yesterday, and it says that they want to release the cards on the rewards program. The free ones are over with so there no way other people can get it now.

      he didnt mention it will be from the rewards program and he did say “no such offer was in place for North America”. Although such an offer has been available in north america. Seeing as we have received packs of KI AR cards. If even he isn’t talking about the free ones there is really no way of us knowing judging by this post.

      It is already our plan to release the cards on the Club Nintendo Rewards Program. When they well be available is still undecided but we are indeed working on it!

      It’ll be less then that. The Europeans got it for 250 Stars, which is the same amount that you’d get for taking the KIU Satisfaction Survey. It’ll probably be 40-60 Coins.

    You need to rewrite this article and mention that you’re not talking about the free AR cards because its confusing a lot of people.

      Oh no no no. Those were the free ones. These are just 10 random ar cards you can get with 200 coins. There not the free ones.

    As much as this is a good deal, I am saving up for that Game & Watch Ball thing, and you never know when that will come off of Club Nintendo.

    I believe he is talking bout the 12 card booster packs, not the sampler pack we all got from club.nintendo.com

    The boosters are 250 stars which is about 80 US club coins

    That’s using stars*0.32=us coins based off of hanafuda being 7500 stars vs 800 coins, (though using a few other items the price can also be 40-120 us club coins)
