Capcom is bringing a Lost Planet spin-off known as E.X. Troopers to the 3DS. The game will follow the main character Bren Turner and deal with the story of the fight between the snow pirates and Akrid aliens on EDN-3rd. You can check after the break for the first image from the game.

  • the psvita is better

and more support from capcom is coming to the 3ds…
WHY DONT YOU SUPPORT THE VITA TOO ?D:

    • Captain Falcon

      True dat ^^

    • Csaw

3ds: 17 million units sold worldwide
vita 1.8 million units sold worldwide

that’s why. These companies don’t care about making good games for a console, they care about making money, and at the moment vita games aren’t going to be very profitable.

    • 3dsdude24

The vita hasn’t sold enough units yet. When more people buy the hardware, the more developers will give the system more support.

    • Belinni

I aint complainin’. Capcom didn’t really support the DS that much compared to the PSP so perhaps this is a love letter to all the fans they couldn’t access till now.

Either way, they seem to be giving us some pretty good titles so far. Perhaps the strictness Nintendo has over it’s DLC makes the Capcom teams think out the games better?

Now all I want at some point in the 3DS’ life is a Dead Rising game and another Okami sequel (or Okamiden 2 if that’s out of the question).

    • Derpy Hooves

The PSvita hasn’t sold enough to be supported by more third parties. I’m hoping the vita get more support in the future, but now, it’s great to hear that capcom is giving some love to Nintendo.

    • Vii

3ds need a rival handheld in this generation console wars! D:

    • holonboy

It’s not the third party’s job to push hardware sells but rather they’re there to benefit from hardware sells. Remember the 3DS launch and what happened when Nintendo tried to make the third party titles take the spotlight? It doesn’t work out like that. First party titles push hardware sells and third party titles benefit from that.

Because there is no money in that steaming pile, hate to break it to you…

    • Capcom

Bcuz u touch ur self at night.

    • Brian

      ^ Butthurt fags.

  • SEGAGIGA

Poor Vita Japanese sales = Poor Japanese Developer support.

    Maybe next year. /gg

  • ZimmerRemmiz

Looks pretty cool, can’t wait to see more!…

  • MxplayerX

We don’t want that :( we want megama… or Dead rising for the 3ds

  • Reo

The one funny thing that this game also confirmed for ps3. Strange they choose 3ds instead of vita or x360. .
Looks like capcom loves nintendo these days. Or maybe this is their program to make nintendo fans forgive them for cancelling megaman.

  • andrew umu

interesting this comes after Capcom announced that their won’t be any playable 3ds games at e3 (key word, playable)

  • runwachie2

    seen the trailer http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wr1HMERZcBs&feature=g-all-u
but by the looks of it, the video was for ps3, we wont know if this will also be the visuals/gameplay on 3ds. but i like it!

    • Rick

I dunno for sure, but i think that the 3ds can do that.

  • tob2007

While I’m not a huge fan of the Vita (though I plan on getting one), it saddens me to see that the only competition for the 3DS is doing so horribly, it made the 3DS launch look completely successful. Still, once Final Fantasy X comes to the Vita, many people, including myself, will likely want to get one.

    • Raven the great

But then they bring FF 7 to the 3ds :o

  • Raven the great

How exactly is this a spin-off?

  • =.=

idk why but i hate ur name “the ps vita is better” and the worse is u are in a 3ds blog ._.
