Angry Birds Trilogy is coming to 3DS

A long time ago, we heard that Angry Birds was coming to the 3DS. After months of waiting, Activision has announced Angry Birds Trilogy for the 3DS, PS3, and Xbox 360. The game, which “bundles the original Angry Birds, Angry Birds Seasons and Angry Birds Rio on one disc or 3DS cartridge”, also includes various updates:

The backgrounds have been animated, we’ve added lighting modes, reactive backgrounds, the list goes on and on. We believe that there are a lot of people on the consoles who appreciate a great casual game play experience. This is a game that resonates across a wide audience on many platforms.

But while the gameplay is not my cup of tea, I’m curious to see how well it sells on a traditional console.

    I feel like the whole reason these sell is because they’re cheap… But for an actual console, where it probably won’t be nearly so inexpensive? It won’t be a flop by any means, but I doubt it’ll be a huge success. But who knows? Maybe I’ll be proven wrong.

      Yeah I mean most people I know that have the angry birds games on thirty phones have the free (with ads) version… though It’s possible this could ride on Antrying Birds popularity….

    Won’t be getting it. It’s free on my smartphone. Also why on a cartridge? Why not as an eShop game?

      I was wondering that myself. I thought there would be the 4 seperate eshop games, just like on smartphones.

    Angry Birds is so dull, tedious, frustrating and boring. I wonder how they will use the dual screens and 3D effect. This game will probably suck but definitely sell. Because, you know, it’s Angry Birds.

    ummm so if its on disc/cartridge.. you’re basically paying $60/$40 for a games that would cost $3 in total on a phone?

      Some games come out at $20 even when brand new. Though Angry Birds Trilogy definitely wouldn’t stand out as brand new unless the extra stuff really stands out compared to the original release.

      I’m kinda sad Angry Birds Space isn’t there. It seemed interesting.

    lololol that it will come as a cartrigde is weird xD it isn’t a big game LOL I guess they will do digital download and retail! But also then, I would get the retail version only to have the cover *-*

    They should of stuck to digital download. I’m not buying a retail .99 cents game. Especially not when I can get the other ones for free!
