A varied look at the stages in Sonic Generations

There are plenty of new screenshots from the various stages in Sonic Generations including:

  • Casino Night Zone
  • Emerald Coast

      Haven’t you heard? Kaizar’s twin usually comes online and takes his place, but instead of saying SHABLAGOO! he says MINT BERRY CRUNCH! This makes sense because it’s still on the same subject of South Park, but is not related entirely different from SHABLAGOO! Also, they talk the same dispite being different people. Anyway, what’s nicer than a friendly MINT BERRY CRUNCH!?

      Or it could be that he is politely considering all the people throwing hate comments at him from saying SHABLAGOO!

      I played the PS3 version, and the graphics were just too much for so much movement…your word “stale” reminded me of just how HEAVY sonic felt compared to the physics of the original. I assume the 3DS version will accommodate a more arcade feel.

      If you’re talking about the demo that was on XBLA/PSN, they’ve made the game feel much better since then. It doesn’t feel so heavy anymore.

    I can’t believe people ever doubted this game & Shinobi when it comes to Graphics, I mean WTF.

    Well, to the people who had said crap about the Graphics, I told you they will look more better later, but a lot of you didn’t listen.

      Gameplay is what’s most important in a game.

      After all, what good is it to play a graphically superior game if the controls are an absolute encumbrance.

      Even though I agree that it’s gameplay that is important, your reasons to why the 3DS should look so good solely based on the speed of the CPU/GPU is mind baffling. Please stop spreading it around, it’s quite annoying.

      Ok.

      I was only doing it in the first place, because a lot of people kept saying that the 3DS has PSP and that the Vita would have way more better graphics than the 3DS.

      Somi just wanted people to stop spreading that false fictional nonsense around, because there really isn’t much difference between the Vita & 3DS.

      And also because the fictional crap people were saying about the Graphics Capability of the 3DS.

      But I will stop now, because I think I must have made a point.

      But if I see a bunch of people on one post gang up on the 3DS with a bunch of lies again; than I can’t make any promises under those Hypothetical Situations.

      But yeah, I will stop NOW, because I think I have made my 100% Fact case.

      And 3DS?

      It’s possible. For the 3DS, I wanted to do an [Super Street Fighter IV:] Arcade Edition version, but I haven’t had a chance to do that because of all the other things I’m up to. At the company, we’re debating should we go for an AE port on 3DS? Should we skip that and go straight to Street Fighter x Tekken? There are a lot of things up in the air, so I can’t say for sure what our next 3DS project will be.

      And by that he means what the VERY NEXT Project on the 3DS will be.

      The Very Next will be either SSF4 AE or SF x T.

      But Capcom is not sure what the VERY NEXT PROJECT WILL BE (as in the first next project).

    Hmmm? What’s that? Emerald Coast, Radical Highway, Mushroom Hill, Casino Night, and Green Hill have all been confirmed for the 3DS? Sha-BLAAAM!!! I’m sold. What else? Frog Forrest, Aquatic Base, Cool Edge, and Starlight Carnival are all coming too!! *Head Explodes*

    I was not considering this game, although I do like Sonic Games. But now that I saw the stage Radical Highway from the game, “Sonic Battle Adventure 2″ which is my favorite game. I might get it. Is a must if Shadow a playable character :D

      Only Classic Sonic and Modern Sonic will be playable, however, Shadow will be a boss in the game.

      What about the part of the game that is Sonic Heroes, do we at least get to play that part of the game like the Original Sonic Heroes or does this game only go as far as Sonic Adventures games?

    Looks nifty, but I think I’d rather play the originals, and fortunately I still have them.

    I don’t see myself buying another Sonic game unless it’s SA3, with chao gardens and 6+ characters and everything.

    Conversely, I don’t have extremely high hopes for such a game to be made.

    Anyway, looks cool, but probably not a buy.

    I saw the Radical Highway screenshot and thought it was a SA2 port. I’m sad now.

    Honestly, this disappoints me. The whole concept behind this game is bringing together the modern and classic Sonic experiences. Yet they make the 3DS version a sidescroller. I could understand, if it was just for the original DS, because the hardware wouldn’t handle it well. But on the 3DS?

    The game looks pretty good, but by taking out the varied gameplay, they are cutting out half of the experience entirely. They are knowingly giving 3DS users an inferior experience.

    By buying this game, I would be directly supporting the making of inferior games on handheld consoles. That’s far from what I want. I love my 3DS, and I want it to have a good game library. I don’t want to look at any particular game and think “Well it’s not bad, but the 360 version is way better.” I want to look at each and every game and think “Yeah, I’m glad I have this- this game is awesome!”

      Yeah, they should had made an option for the 3DS & 360 & PS3 versions, so people could choose to either play pure side-scroller OR not.

      And on every systems Sonic Generaions to have that kind of option for GamePlay.
